Muscat: Oman Airports continues its ambitious efforts to attract international carriers, with the CEO, Sheikh Ayman bin Ahmed Al Hosni, confirming that six new airlines have been secured for Muscat International Airport in 2024. Of these, four airlines are already operational, while two more will begin service later this year.
In 2023, the airport successfully attracted five new airlines, two from Europe and three from other regions. This expansion aims to strengthen Oman’s position in the competitive transit market, linking European travelers to Asian destinations.
