Delta Air Lines is expanding its inflight entertainment options ahead of Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated in September and October in the US.

Earlier today,
Delta Air Lines
announced that it was expanding its inflight entertainment (IFE) offering in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated between September 15 and October 15. The airline will offer exclusive content from Televisa and Univision. This month, movies will be added, and in October, TV series will be added.

Delta highlighted the move as adding diversity and culturally relevant options for passengers to enjoy onboard. The addition of this content is in partnership with Aeromexico, Delta’s cross-border joint-venture partner. The two airlines have been working together to bring seamless connectivity between the US and Mexico.

In September, the following movies will be added to the entertainment system:
- Presencias
- Me vuelves loca
- La absoluta
And, in October, the first episode of the following series will be added:
- María Félix: (S1/E1: Una Mujer con Corazón de Hombre)
- Reconexión México (S1/E1: Guanajuato)
- Ganar es Todo (S1/E1: Club América vs Chivas)
Recent inflight entertainment updates
Just a few days ago, Delta Air Lines announced that its Delta Sync seatback had been rolled out to five of its fleet types. This includes all Airbus A321ceos, A320s, A319s, most Boeing 757s, and many 737-800s. In total, this represents 40% of the planes with IFE screens.
Also, this month, BBC News will be added to the list of live TV channels provided on Delta’s entertainment systems, only on its narrowbody aircraft.

Following the Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris last month, Delta flew the Olympic Flag from Paris to Los Angeles, the host of the next summer olympic games. Delta is the official airline of Team USA and already has an aircraft, an Airbus A350, with the LA28 Games livery. In addition to being the official airline, Delta is an inaugural Founding Partner of the games in 2028.
In addition to carrying the Olympic Flag, the A350 also carried a delegation from Team USA, LA 28, and other dignitaries. The airline’s chief marketing officer, Alicia Tillman, stated that Delta will work together with LA 28 to make the games the best possible.
