Muscat: Air Kerala, India’s first ultra-low-cost carrier, will take off in March next year, according to officials of the new startup airline.
This is on the back of Air Kerala officials holding a meeting with Union Civil Aviation Minister in Delhi. Minister K. Rammohan Naidu. It was also attended by Chief of Central Air Transport Atul Manrola, Director General of Civil Aviation Vikram Dev Dutt and others.
After the meeting Air Kerala officials said that the minister and officials have assured all possible support from the government.
The meeting focused on Air Kerala’s operational strategies and regulatory requirements as it prepares for takeoff.
Recently Zettfly Aviation Pvt Ltd, the new airline’s parent company, had named Harish Kutty as the airline’s CEO.
