Alaska Airlines flight AS369, a Boeing 737-9 MAX 9 aircraft bound for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport from Nashville with 176 passengers and six crew on board, aborted its takeoff around 9:15 a.m. ET (1315 GMT) on September 12 after the flight had been cleared for take0ff from FAA ATC.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it was investigating the incident, where Southwest Airlines flight WN2029 – a Boeing 737-700 – was scheduled to depart for Jacksonville, had been cleared to cross the end of the same runway.
The Alaska flight blew its tires as it aborted the takeoff.
