Turkish Airlines has announced the expansion of its route network. From December 4, 2024, the carrier will start operating flights to Sydney, Australia’s largest city, which will be the airline’s first direct route on the continent.
Flights between Istanbul and Sydney will be operated four times a week on modern Airbus A350-900 airliners with a technical stopover in Kuala Lumpur. This decision will not only strengthen Turkish Airlines’ position in the Australian market, but will also contribute to the development of tourism, trade and cultural exchange between Türkiye and Australia.
To celebrate the opening of the new destination, Turkish Airlines is offering special fares. Flights from Sydney to Istanbul start from 1489 AU dollars and from Istanbul to Sydney from 999 USD. The promotion is valid for tickets purchased between September 12 and December 31, 2024 for flights between December 4, 2024 and May 31, 2025.
Sydney, known for its landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, is an important global center for business, tourism and the arts. Turkish Airlines passengers will now be able to enjoy the airline’s comfort and hospitality when traveling to this exciting city for both business and leisure purposes.
