Repeating contenders this year
Looking at last year’s top 10, seven of these have been nominated again this year in the top 20. Considering airports such as Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
(ATL) and
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
(DFW) are
major hubs and some of the busiest in the world
, these airports would always be up for consideration due to the sheer size of operations and global connectivity offered.
This year, the top 10 could see new airports, such as Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
, which has seen several new service announcements this year and is thereby experiencing an increase in connectivity. The
airport is also known as the ‘Friendliest Airport’ in the country
.
