KLM Royal Dutch Airlines recently announced an improved winter schedule that will run from 27 October to 30 March 30, 2025, catering to both business and leisure passengers and offering the option to visit 220 cities globally, Cape town Etc reports.

The airline disclosed that this winter plan will include even more flights to the Mother City.
KLM will continue to operate daily flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town, but from December 17 this year until the conclusion of the winter season, KLM will enhance its capacity to Cape Town by two flights per week on Tuesdays and Sundays.

KLM will add Flight KL595/596 to its current daily flights, Flight KL597/598, which arrives in Cape Town at 9:30am and departs at 11:20pm. This new service will arrive at 6:10am and depart at 8:05am on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning 17 December.
‘We’re excited to provide our customers with more options to reach Cape Town, a destination that is increasingly popular among both business and leisure travellers,’ said a KLM spokesperson.
The airline also stated that there will be daily flights to Nairobi and Accra, as well as the opportunity to fly to three Tanzanian locations, including a daily flight to Dar es Salaam combined with five weekly flights to Kilimanjaro and two weekly flights to Zanzibar. Kigali in Rwanda and Entebbe in Uganda will also be serviced five times a week during winter.
Air France-KLM, the airline’s parent business, has also expanded its offerings, adding six more destinations, including Manila. Travel convenience has reached new heights thanks to increased direct flight alternatives from Paris and Amsterdam.
