The Turkish Ambassador to Cairo, Salih Mutlu Şen, participated in the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup for amateurs, held on October 19 at the Katameya Dunes Golf Club. 

Ambassador Şen also awarded the tournament’s trophy to the Egyptian winner, Rony Farag.

During his visit to the golf course, Ambassador Şen expressed his admiration for the venue, praising the beauty and design of the course. He also highlighted that having an Egyptian winner reflects the promising future of golf in Egypt.

Ambassador Şen noted that the tournament featured competitors from various countries, including South Korea, Japan, and England, and expressed optimism about future editions being held in Egypt.

The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, established in 2013, is recognized as the largest amateur golf tournament worldwide, spanning over 100 cities across 71 countries.
