“Affordable, reliable flights between two of the most convenient airports in their respective regions will give travelers more time and flexibility to enjoy the attractions of both Florida and upstate New York,” Levy said in a statement.

One-way fares from Rochester will start at $56.
In addition to this new route, Avelo currently offers nonstop service between Rochester and North Carolina’s Raleigh-Durham International Airport and South Carolina’s Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
Beginning Nov. 8, Avelo will add a nonstop route between Rochester and Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, near Charlotte, North Carolina.
