Turkish Airlines is enhancing the travel experience for its young passengers by introducing a refreshed collection of toy sets. The new toys cater to children of different ages, helping them stay entertained in a creative and educative way.

The airline has launched the “My Travel Buddy” series, which includes five unique sets. Each set is tailored to the length of the journey, creating an exciting and engaging experience while encouraging young minds to build their own toy collections.
The collection features the five little explorers of the Turkish Airlines Kids Club, carefully curated for children’s development in specific age groups. The new toy sets cater to children aged 2-6 and 7-12,

Entertainment and child development
Turkish Airlines currently flies to over 290 international destinations. Its long-haul network comprises 14 destinations in the US, including New York JFK Airport
, Chicago-O’Hare, Boston Logan, Washington-Dulles, Los Angeles International, and Denver. As such, children traveling from the US can make use of the new toys. The sets include the following items:
- The tangram puzzle: Encourages problem-solving, spatial reasoning, and understanding of geometric shapes.
- The camping set: Promotes environmental awareness from an early age.
- Plush toys: Support emotional development, offering a sense of comfort and security.
- Pilot hats and model airplanes: Encourage children to discover their passion for aviation.
The airline has also included activity booklets and crayons that support fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Meanwhile, activities that showcase Türkiye’s cultural assets will introduce children to cultural heritage through fun, interactive content. The pilot hats and model planes were also part of previous collections and are indispensable parts of the series.
All toys in the refreshed collection are made from eco-friendly and recycled materials

Other unique Turkish Airlines offerings
While children can get creative with their new toys on long-haul flights, other passengers can enjoy the world’s ‘oldest bread’ on select business class flights.
The airline introduced the unique menu item on September 22, 2024
, on a flight from Istanbul to New York. While new to the airline’s cuisine, it is well-established in Turkish history.

The bread is made of Einkorn and Emmer wheats, considered the oldest types in Anatolia, the cradle of the most ancient civilizations. The new offering is served heated and in a special bag with butter and olive oil before meal service. It will be available in business class on intercontinental routes.
