Avelo Airlines announced the start of two new nonstop flights from Wilmington.

Travelers now have the option to choose from two new nonstop flights from Wilmington International Airport.

Avelo Airlines announced on Thursday that passengers can now travel to Fort Myers, Florida’s Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Hartford, Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport (BDL).

Both routes will run twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, utilizing a Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft, according to a press release from Avelo.

“We’re excited to see Avelo grow with these two new nonstop flights at ILM. With the addition of Fort Myers and Hartford, travelers can now choose among eight nonstops on Avelo, all with everyday law fares,” ILM Airport Director Jeff Bourk said in the release.
