Unique West Coast beverages for the sky
Leading the new offerings is a groundbreaking partnership with Lagunitas Brewing Company, making Alaska Airlines the first major US carrier to serve the brewery’s popular Hoppy Refresher. Made with no alcohol, carbs, or gluten, it’s the perfect choice for health-conscious travelers or craft beverage enthusiasts looking to experience the West Coast’s vibrant craft culture at 30,000 feet. Available for free in First Class and Premium Class, the Hoppy Refresher will also be available for purchase in the Main Cabin.
For those seeking a more sophisticated refreshment, the airline is introducing the Straightaway Nitro Espresso Martini, crafted in collaboration with Portland’s Stumptown Coffee Roasters. This ready-to-drink cocktail promises to deliver a premium coffee experience at cruising altitude.
First class comfort and premium self-care
The airline’s commitment to luxury extends beyond beverages. First Class passengers will soon enjoy custom-designed blankets through a partnership with Seattle-based Filson, the iconic outdoor gear manufacturer. The blankets, launching in early December on select long-haul and coast-to-coast flights, combine Filson’s renowned durability with premium comfort.

Further enhancing the premium experience, Alaska Airlines has partnered with Salt & Stone to provide high-end amenities in all Alaska Lounges and onboard restrooms. The products feature a sophisticated blend of Italian bergamot, grapefruit, and orange blossom, complemented by notes of vetiver, hinoki, and amber.
Todd Traynor-Corey, Managing Director of Guest Products at Alaska Airlines, said in a statement:
“Our guests value unique, high-quality experiences, and these new products allow us to elevate their journey while bringing a bit of regional pride to every flight. Partnering with Lagunitas, Filson, Salt & Stone and other West Coast companies is reflective of our commitment to support local brands and provide the ultimate premium guest experience.”
Expanding beverage selections and meal offerings
The airline is also expanding its beverage selection with additions like Waterbrook Wine Blend, Alaskan Brewing WILDNESS, and an exclusive First Class offering from Airfield Estates Winery. These new options complement Alaska’s existing pre-order meal program, which allows Main Cabin passengers on flights over 1,100 miles to choose from up to five chef-curated dishes.
Hannah Dray, chief marketing officer at Lagunitas, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership:
“We’re jazzed to get up in the air with Alaska Airlines and welcome their flyers into our pack of misfits offering them a crispy, zingy, hoppily refreshing sparkling water to kick back and enjoy throughout their flight.”
