The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on the night of Wednesday, November 13, 2024, the I-20 eastbound off-ramp at Airline Drive (LA 3105) in Bossier City will be closed.

This ramp closure is scheduled to take place over the course of five nights from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each night, and is necessary to allow for construction activities to take place as part of the ongoing I-20 major rehabilitation project.

As a reminder, the project is currently in the process of transitioning into Phase 3 (final phase), with ongoing traffic shifts occurring in both the eastbound and westbound directions. Traffic is being shifted onto the newly constructed inside travel lanes so demolition and removal of the old outside lanes can begin.

The I-20 project webpage provides a variety of resources and updates as work progresses. To access that page, click here.

Safety reminder:

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
