It is cold outside and it’s only going to get colder. After the stress and prep of the holiday season, I always say there’s one thing I need when it’s all said and done – a vacation. Once we hit January and February, we are in the middle of winter and all I crave is a warm place to go relax.

Lucky for us, Connecticut, we may have a new option at our hands. Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford just announced that BermudAir will now be an available option to fly out of Hartford. Starting in April, the airline will offer nonstop service from Hartford to Bermuda twice a week.

Adam Scott, the CEO & Founder of BermudAir had this to say about the expansion to Bradley International Airport – “This new route between Bradley International and Bermuda not only opens doors for leisure and business connections but also offers our guests a seamless and enriching journey. We look forward to welcoming our passengers onboard and sharing Bermuda’s unique spirit with each flight.”

I decided to check out BermudAir’s website to see how much money it would cost to fly there. For this case, I chose Thursday, April 10 as my departure date and Sunday, April 20 as my arrival date back home. I chose the basic economy ticket for each way and my round trip fare came out to $448. For a nonstop flight to Bermuda, it doesn’t seem like it’s all that much.

This is definitely an option to consider when you plan on booking your next trip. Nonstop flights are a must for me. It takes out so much hassle and makes it easier for everyone involved. It’s coming up on that time where I need to book another trip – Bermuda may just have to be that destination.

Bravo, Hartford. I’m happy that we keep expanding and offering more options for people. It saves me a trip to JFK and I’m always thankful for that.
