EVA Air of Taiwan has revealed expansion plans that will see the Taipei-based carrier launch a new route Dallas-Fort Worth Airport (DFW) from its home base at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) on November 3, 2025. The new 7,718 miles (12,349km) flights are expected to operate five times per week using either Boeing 777-300ERs or 787 Dreamliners.

According to the airline, Dallas ranks as the world’s third-busiest airport in terms of passenger volume. The Texan city has also become a hub for high-tech businesses migrating from Silicon Valley, driving frequent business travel to the region. The route will also facilitate onward connections via DFW to destinations across Central and South America, which according to the carrier, should “ensure strong passenger and cargo load factors.”

During a recent briefing to stakeholders, the airline said that the move would assist the airline in keeping aligned with its strategy to capitalize on a robust recovery in passenger demand across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region as well as globally.
