Most people travel by car for Thanksgiving, but airports will still be packed this year with 5.8 million people expected to fly. And with the extra travelers also comes an extra cost.
AAA estimated people are paying about 3% more for domestic flights this year. But people aren’t just visiting their family in the United States. The numbers for international flights are up 23% compared to last Thanksgiving.
All that travel, along with winter weather, means you could see delays or cancelations when you’re heading home from your destination.
