CONCORD, NC – Avelo Airlines is expanding it’s presence at the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport.
The airline says it is opening a new base at the airport, which will include two planes being positioned there, and adding up to 50 jobs.
Avelo is also adding two nonstop routes from Concord to Daytona Beach, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee.
“Our Queen City Customers tell us they have loved flying Avelo since we took flight at USA six months ago,” said Andrew Levy, Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO .
“The fast and easy, small hometown airport experience Charlotte-Concord Airport offers is a relaxing alternative to CLT. Our nine nonstop destinations are just the beginning. Avelo’s new Charlotte base will enable us to bring more affordable, convenient and industry-leading reliability to even more destinations — while also creating more jobs and economic opportunity for the region,” said Levy.
