EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Starting December 13, 2024 United Airlines regional carrier SkyWest Airlines will return to our region with daily flights to Chicago O’Hare. Airport Director Charity Zich joined WEAU’s Bob Gallaher on Hello Wisconsin to discuss the change in service.

When will United Airlines flights operate from CVRA and how can I find more information on airfares and schedule?

· Flights will operate daily with an early morning departure and late evening arrival seven days per week and an afternoon arrival and departure five days per week.

· We include the most up to date schedule on the flight information page on our website chippewavalleyairport.com or you can go directly to united.com to book.

What if I want to go to Texas or Florida and not Chicago?

· We can get you there! United is the largest airline at ORD and serves over 190 non-stop destinations from ORD so you can literally get almost anywhere in the world.

· An important point to remember about airline service to a community is that it also serves individuals trying to get to our area which is also very important to the development of our region.

Will United be the only airline serving CVRA?

· We are very excited that we will be retaining service with Sun Country Airlines with nonstop flights to Fort Myers, FL from January 31-April 7, 2025.

· These flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays and are running on a trial basis with our partners at Sun Country. The community needs to fully utilize these flights in order to keep them. If we make RSW successful we can hopefully grow beyond just the Fort Myers flights!
