Frontier Airlines launched its new winter flight service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and West Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday.
It is part of a broader expansion by the Denver-based company seen at CVG this year.
“We are thrilled to welcome winter in Cincinnati with the launch of our new seasonal service to Palm Beach,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines. “This new route caps a year of exciting growth and investment for Frontier at CVG, and we are pleased to thank area consumers for their support by offering ultra-low-cost travel to Florida to enjoy some warmth and sunshine during the cold Midwest winter months.”
While the first flights have now departed, plenty more will come over the next few months, with one-way ticket prices starting as low as $39.
Previously this year, Frontier Airlines announced that they will offer new flight routes to Sarasota, Florida, and Austin, Texas.
The next Frontier flights out of CVG will depart on Jan. 4, Feb. 15, and Feb. 22, before continuing to be offered every Saturday through April. Departing flights from West Palm Beach to Cincinnati through Frontier will also be scheduled on Saturdays.
