Australia’s on-time performance for airlines has taken a bit of a hit. In September 2024, airlines operating across the country saw 75.5% of flights arriving on time and 76.1% departing on time, both figures lower than Australia’s long-term averages of over 80% for both arrivals and departures.

Hinterland Airlines led the pack with 91.1% of flights arriving on time and an impressive 94.1% of flights departing on time – making it the most reliable airline for punctuality.

Skytrans followed closely, with 84.5% of flights arriving on time and 81.7% departing on time.
