“The launch of our new routes to Mumbai and New Delhi marks a significant milestone in our strategy to promote Jordan as a tourism destination for the Indian market,” said Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Jordanian Airlines.

In addition to boosting tourism, the direct flights aim to strengthen bilateral trade and economic ties between India and Jordan. Amman, the airline’s hub, will serve as a gateway for Indian travelers to Europe, North America, and the Middle East, ensuring seamless connections to various destinations.

As part of its expansion, Royal Jordanian plans to introduce 19 new aircraft, including A320neos and Boeing 787s, in 2025-26. The initiative aligns with the airline’s “Explore Jordan” program, reinforcing its commitment to showcasing Jordan as a distinctive destination for Indian travelers.
