Thales has extended its partnership with Vietnam Airlines to provide its FlytCARE services for maintenance of the airline’s inflight entertainment (IFE) systems.
The contract was agreed with Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines.
The FlytCARE contract covers IFE systems maintenance for the airlines’ A350 and B787 fleets and includes spares availability services at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and Tan Son Nhat International Airport at Ho Chi Minh City.
The agreement further strengthens Thales’ long-term partnership with Vietnam Airlines and its subsidiary VAECO.
Vietnam Airlines operates a fleet of 27 A350s, B787-9s and B787-10 Dreamliners which are all equipped with Thales’ AVANT IFE systems.
