Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: ULCC), a prominent ultra-low fare carrier, resumed its service to Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday, February 15, by inaugurating nonstop flights from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU) in Antigua. This service will operate on a weekly basis, providing connections throughout the Caribbean and the continental United States.

The commencement of Frontier’s new service was formally celebrated during a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was graced by the presence of several distinguished individuals, including the Honorable Charles Fernandez, Minister of Tourism for Antigua and Barbuda; Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority; Wendy Williams, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority; and Charmaine Spencer, Director of Tourism for the Caribbean and Latin America. They were accompanied by Frontier’s Regional Manager, Paola Torres, as well as the captain and crew of the inaugural flight.
