Morocco reinforced its connectivity with the United States through launching a direct flight by Delta Airlines from Atlanta to Marrakech, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) announced.

The flight, scheduled to start in October 2025, is the second direct link between the United States and Morocco in the span of two years, showcasing ONMT’s ongoing commitment to facilitating access to the Kingdom and enhancing its attractiveness on the North American market, the Office says in a press release.

This new direct route is a major step forward, as Atlanta is the world’s largest hub and a strategic gateway to the whole of the US, the press release points out, noting that this hub serves 125 American cities.

It is also Delta Airlines’ first point-to-point service to Morocco and North Africa in general.

Delta Airlines, for its part, is the oldest airline operating in the United States and one of the most popular in the world.

The Atlanta – Marrakech route will be operated by a 238-seat Boeing 767-400, with three weekly frequencies.

This strategic agreement between ONMT and Delta Air Lines for the launch of this route will help attract a significant flow of travelers to Morocco, contributing to the growth of tourism and the development of trade between the two countries.
