Regional Thai operator Bangkok Airways is considering Boeing, Airbus and Embraer as part of fleet renewal plans over the next four to five years, according to Bloomberg. 

On March 18, 2025, Bloomberg reported that the Bangkok Airways CEO Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth announced that the airline was in the market for up to 30 narrowbody aircraft. 

In an interview, Prasarttong-Osoth told the global news outlet that he plans to open discussions with Boeing, Airbus and Embraer for at least 20 aircraft, while the options for 10 more further down the line.
