Spirit Airlines can now take Louisville travelers to somewhere warmer this spring break.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Even though much of the south is going through unprecedented cold weather. Spirit Airlines is looking to help travelers get somewhere warmer.
The airline is adding new, seasonal nonstop service from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) to Myrtle Beach (MYR) and resuming nonstop service from SDF to Tampa (TPA) beginning March 19.
Flights to both destinations will operate four times per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Travelers can also take advantage of Spirit’s existing nonstop service from SDF to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (MCO) to plan their spring break getaway.
“We’re excited to connect our Louisville Guests with the sunny beaches and fun attractions in Myrtle Beach and Tampa, just in time for spring break,” Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines John Kirby said. “Louisville-area travelers can take advantage of Spirit’s affordable fares, high-value service, and recently transformed Guest experience to soar away to one of these new, warm destinations.”
The new flights are available for booking now on spirit.com, where travelers can browse flight details and fares.
