The national airline, Maldivian, has revealed ticket prices for its inaugural wide-body Airbus A330 flights to China, which will commence later this month.

The airline’s first destination will be Chengdu, with flights starting on January 22. 

A return ticket to Chengdu is priced at USD 688 (MVR 10,610).

Flights to Beijing will begin on January 24, with return tickets costing USD 788 (MVR 12,151). 

Meanwhile, flights to Shanghai will start on January 27, with a return ticket priced at USD 777 (MVR 11,981).

The Airbus A330, which arrived in the Maldives on Monday, has a seating capacity of 260 passengers across business, premium economy, and economy classes. 

Additionally, the aircraft offers a cargo capacity of 10 tonnes.

Passengers are permitted to carry up to 40 kilograms of baggage, making it a convenient option for travelers.
