MOLOKA’I, Hawaii (Island News) – After grounding all of its flights on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, Mokulele Airlines announced that they are in the process of returning its flight operations soon.

On Wednesday, Mokulele Airlines sent out a notice to its customers stating that all of its flights have been paused by the carrier due to “an abundance of caution.”

On Friday, January 17, Louis Saint-Cyr, COO and President of Hawaii Operations released the following statement:

“Southern Airways and Mokulele Airlines took voluntary and precautionary measures to ensure the health of its fleet which resulted in the cancellation of multiple flights in Hawaii and the mainland. These proactive safety measures reflect our unwavering commitment to safety. The Company is in the process of returning to full flight operations and should complete this process within the next 48 hours. Passengers with questions about their flights should contact our customer service team.”
