A brawl broke out at an airport in Atlanta, and it was captured on camera.

The incident occurred near a Spirit Airlines boarding area at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday, Feb. 19, according to local news outlet FOX 5

Footage of the brawl — submitted anonymously to the verified X account ATL Uncensored on Friday, Feb. 21 — shows men and women punching one another, as well as several women standing on chairs to kick fellow travelers. It is unclear what started the fight or whether the brawl participants knew each other.

The now-viral video has garnered nearly 2.5 million views, more than 3,000 reposts and over 1,500 replies as of Sunday, Feb. 23.

Atlanta Police Department officers reportedly responded to complaints of a disturbance at the airport that day, but the crowd had already dispersed by the time they arrived, per The Daily Mail.

PEOPLE reached out to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for comment on Feb. 23, and a representative from the airport said to reach out to the Atlanta Police Department for details.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the busiest airport in the U.S. and one of the highest-volume travel hubs in the world, and it receives about 93 million travelers annually, per the World Economic Forum.
