Virgin Atlantic Will Fly To New York Using 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel
Later this month, Virgin Atlantic will make history when it operates the world’s first transatlantic flight powered entirely by sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The news comes following an announcement by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), which revealed that it had issued the carrier with a permit to do so this week.
The US Air Force Is Looking For A New Area 51 Flight Operator
The United States Air Force is potentially looking to replace the current operator for the service commonly referred to as ‘Janet.’ This transports USAF employees from Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to such sites as Area 51.

Southwest Airlines CEO Bob Jordan Says Red-Eye Flights Are Coming
Southwest Airlines could be preparing for significant changes in the future. Last week, CEO Bob Jordan said the airline could operate at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, and, more recently, the Dallas Morning News said the low-cost carrier will begin red-eye flights. Air India Passengers Can Travel Across 5,600 German Train Stations On One Ticket
Air India passengers booked to fly to Germany’s Frankfurt Airport (FRA) can now include a train connection on Deutsche Bahn to more than 5,000 stations in the country. The airline’s intermodal interline agreement allows travelers to book flights and trains on a single ticket for greater convenience of travel.

Abandoned Olympic Airways Boeing 727 To Be Restored In Athens
Zela Aviation, an Air Charter group based in Cyprus, has acquired two aircraft that have been abandoned at the former Athens International Airport for years. The aircraft’s new owners intend to restore and display the planes to inspire a new generation of aviators and preserve a piece of aviation history in Greece and Cyprus.
