At the bottom of our list is the 1,897-nautical mile (2,182-mile) route between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International (ATL), with 57 scheduled flights in May, as reported by Cirium, an aviation analytics company.

Delta Air Lines offers seven daily flights between SEA and ATL, of which two are operated using 757-300s and the rest on the carrier’s 737-900s. The only other airline serving the route is Alaska Airlines, which operates three daily flights using a mix of Boeing 737-900s and 737 MAX 9s. The route is also advertised and sold by codeshare partner airlines.

Delta Air Lines offers five daily flights between MCO and MSP, of which two are operated using 757-300s and the rest on the carrier’s Airbus A321s.

The other airlines serving the route are Frontier Airlines (two daily flights using A321) and Sun Country (two daily flights using 737-800s). The airline offers 14,976 seats on the route, amounting to over 19.5 million Available Seat Miles (ASMs).

As one of the most popular cross-country routes, there is ample competition.

The airline uses a variety of aircraft on the 90-minute hop, including A320 family aircraft, 737-800s, 757-200s and 757-300s.

Most flights are operated on the carrier’s 757-200s. However, up to five daily flights see Delta’s 757-300 aircraft. The route is also operated six times daily by Southwest Airlines (737-800s), three times daily by Frontier Airlines (A320s), and twice daily by Spirit Airlines (A321s). The airline offers 21,762 seats on the route, amounting to over 8.7 million Available Seat Miles (ASMs).
