JetBlue Personal Credit Cards
Every $1,000 spent equals one tile
- JetBlue Card: $0 annual fee | up to 3x points on eligible purchases
- JetBlue Plus Card: $99 annual fee | up to 6x points on eligible purchases
- Earn Mosaic tiles on both cards
JetBlue offers two types of credit cards for personal use. The JetBlue Card has a $0 annual fee, whereas the JetBlue Plus card has an annual fee of $99. While the Plus Card has several additional benefits, such as additional points on purchases, the first free checked bag, and a $100 statement credit on a vacation package, both cards earn one tile per every $1,000 spent. Card transactions are restricted by year for tile awards.

According to JetBlue,
“Qualifying JetBlue credit card transactions in 2023 count toward 2023 (no matter when your billing cycle closes), and transactions in 2024 count toward 2024. Tiles earned for 2023 from transactions in December will be credited and posted to your account by mid- to late-January.”

Business card members also receive Group A boarding on all JetBlue-operated flights. This is an additional perk compared to the Plus card. Purchase tiles
Up to 250 tiles can be purchased at a time
- 50 tiles = Mosaic 1 = $6,811
- 100 tiles = Mosaic 2 = $9,791
- 150 tiles = Mosaic 3 = $10,212
- 250 tiles = Mosaic 4 = $11,433
Up to 250 tiles can be purchased outright in a single transaction to earn the type of elite status desired. JetBlue enables people to purchase both the points and tiles, to be redeemed or used as travel perks. A single Mosaic tile costs $107, whereas ten tiles cost $1066. Notably, every $100 spent on JetBlue flights will generally earn you one tile, which is almost equivalent to purchasing it outright.

However, $100 towards a flight purchase is a much greater value than purchasing one tile. The unit price of tiles significantly goes down when purchased in bulk. In a nutshell, people can earn Mosaic status 1 for $6,811, Mosaic 2 for $9,791, Mosaic 3 for $10,212, and Mosaic 4 for $11,433. Purchasing 250 tiles in a single transaction means each tile costs a little over $45, about 60% cheaper than the unit cost.
