Amex is opening a brand-new exclusive club for its top card members in Midtown Manhattan – so not all of Amex’s luxury Centurion Lounges will be at airports. Dubbed “Centurion New York,” it will span the 55th floor of One Vanderbilt, offering stunning views over America’s largest city – including the Chrysler Building.

Centurion New York will be open daily. The rooms are luxury-appointed and include the Gallery, the Salon, the Bar, and the Studio Bar. Guests enjoy gourmet meals where “each menu is uniquely crafted for its inspired spaces by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud.”

SFO Centurion Lounge is open from 05:00 to 23:00 and can be accessed post-security from Terminal 3, Terminal 2, or International Terminal G. The lounge comes with well-appointed shower suites and productive workspaces. The dishes are crafted by James Beard Award nominee chef Ravi Kapur. He is the co-owner of the critically acclaimed Liholiho Yacht Club, Louie’s Gen-Gen Room, and more in San Francisco’s lower Nob Hill neighborhood.

The JFK Centurion Lounge is open from 05:00 to 22:00 daily and boasts two premium bars (and a speakeasy). The speakeasy is a Prohibition-era bar called 1850, tucked away as a ‘hidden bar.’ Relax with specialty coffers at the bar and sample Irving Farm’s fresh-roasted New York Coffee (available in drip and espresso). The dining program is headed by the renowned NYC restaurateur Ignacio Mattos.
