For June 2024, Emirates is offering the following seats on what it expects to be its six busiest routes. These include:
- There are 198,490 seats between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and London Heathrow Airport (LHR). Emirates competes with Virgin Atlantic and British Airways, the United Kingdom’s national flag carrier, on this route.
- There are 151,276 seats between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok, Thailand. On this route, Emirates has no competition from DXB, but Etihad flies to BKK from Zayed International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi and AirArabia from Sharjah International Airport (SHJ), a 28-minute taxi ride from DXB.
- There are 110,864 seats between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Cairo International Airport (CAI) in Egypt. On this route, Emirates competes with Egyptair, the country’s national flag carrier.
- There are 109,856 seats between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai. On this route, Emirates competes with Indian national flag carrier Air India, Vistara, and low-cost carrier IndiGo.
- There are 94,812 seats between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Kuwait International Airport (KWI). Emirates competes with Kuwait’s national flag carrier, Kuwait Airways, and Emirati government-owned flydubai on this route.
- There are 86,160 seats between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi, India. Emirates competes with Air India and budget airlines IndiGo and SpiceJet on this route.

Emirates expects a bumper summer travel season as more people seek to go on vacation after recovering from the COVID-19 global pandemic. For summer 2024, Emirates plans to fly its popular Airbus A380s to 50 international destinations, with the United Kingdom seeing 14 daily A380 flights.
