Don’t worry Kiwis, the video will be available on United’s international flights to and from Aotearoa, so you won’t miss out on watching this again.
The airline recently launched a new seasonal direct flight between Los Angeles and Auckland, and will start flying Christchurch-San Francisco in December, making it the only airline to offer direct flights between the South Island and the US.
The services are part of a crowded field of operators linking New Zealand with the US.
Delta Air Lines recently made its long-awaited debut into the New Zealand market, with flights between Auckland and Los Angeles. American Airlines is also operating a seasonal service on the same route, while also flying Auckland-Dallas.
Fiji Airways, Air Tahiti Nui and Hawaiian Airlines currently offer services with stopovers, although the latter recently announced it will pause operations here during winter next year. Qantas flies the non-stop Auckland to New York route in direct competition with Air New Zealand. Our national carrier also flies to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Houston and Chicago.
