Only one European and North American route made the cut.

Summary

  • Unsurprisingly, Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways dominate the world’s 13 most-served Airbus A350 routes.
  • Singapore-Hong Kong will be the leading market in the first week of June, with 90 weekly flights each way.
  • London Heathrow to New York JFK is the only European and North American airport pair to feature.

The A350, both the -900 and -1000 variants, will operate more than 430 international routes in the first week of June, whether multi-daily or just once. That finding is based on examining the entire schedule of the type using the latest data supplied by airlines to OAG.

13 routes with 20+ weekly A350 flights

The following table details them. Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways stand out. That’s hardly surprising: Singapore Airlines is comfortably the world’s largest user of the A350-900 (and the sole operator of the famed -900ULR), while Qatar Airways is for the A350-1000.

Details are based on the first week of June; they will vary at other times. The 20-weekly cut-off point is strictly adhered to; several routes have 19 weekly flights and are excluded. The A350-900 operates all routes unless the -1000 is stated.
