Southern California travelers hoping for discounted flights this fall and winter are in luck as a low-cost airline announces deep discounts as part of its latest temporary sale.

Breeze Airways, a Utah-based budget airline, is offering 35% discounts on flights throughout its service area, including flights in and out of LAX, John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, San Bernardino International Airport and San Diego International Airport.

The discounted flights are part of a campaign called “Destination Dupes,” which the company says highlight domestic getaways that offer “international vibes.”

“We love domestic destinations with international vibes, or US destinations with some of the same appeals as international locations,” said Angela Vargo, vice president of marketing at Breeze Airways. “Guests can leave their passports at home and take 35% off roundtrip base fares across our route network.”

To receive discounted rates, travelers will need to use the promo code “DUPE” during check out on the Breeze Airways website or app. Applicable flights are between August 14 through Jan. 7, 2024, and must be booked before Thursday at 11:59 p.m.

Some travel dates during major holidays are restricted.

Founded by David Neeleman, who previously co-founded JetBlue, Breeze says its business model centers around providing flights to underserved destinations and offering “affordable fares with plenty of perks.” Those benefits include a la carte pricing, fewer fees and enhanced seating options without additional charges for changes or cancellations up to 15 minutes before departure.

The airline celebrated three years of service last month, which coincided with another promotional discount campaign.
