On Thursday, June 27, representatives for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024 released the schedule for the upcoming air shows. The event, which will be held from July 22-28 at the Wittman Regional Airport (OSH) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, features several big names in air shows. Along with the air shows taking place above the airport, EAA AirVenture also provides several static displays of aircraft along with many activities for aviation enthusiasts of all ages. Let’s take a look at some of the unique air shows that will be on display during the week-long event.
Speaking about the upcoming airshows, Rick Larsen, the Vice President of Communities and Member Programs at EAA, stated,
“‘Oshkosh’ is a word that for aviators means the best of the best, and that includes the air show performers who fly here. Whether the performances come from jet teams, aerobatic champions, or new technology, flying at AirVenture is known as a singular achievement for these aviators.”
Monday, July 22
The Monday events are set to include several aerobatics teams and historical aircraft on display. One of the aerobatics teams on display is the Titan Aerobatics Team. This team uses the North American AT-6 Texan, which was produced from 1935 through 1995 and has over 15,000 produced. The daily event will also feature the Chuters Skydiving Team, the EAA Warbirds of America, and International Aerobatic Club aircraft.

Several military aircraft will be on display including the EAA Warbirds of America, Scott Urschel flying a BO-105 helicopter, a USAF F-16 Viper demo, the A-10 demo team, Vicky Benzing flying a P-51 Mustang, Rob Holland flying the MXS-RH, and Skip Stewart flying the Prometheus.

- Jarrod Lindemann flying the Jet Waco
- Kyle Fowler flying the Long-EZ
- Heritage Flight
- Kyle Franklin and his Super Cub
- Rutan Aircraft
Tuesday, July 23
Several new demo teams will take the stage on the second day of the airshows. Some of the unique features include the SOCOM skydivers, a technology showcase that will feature the AG USAS eVTOL, Heritage Flight, and the EAA Warbirds of America again. Jarrod Lindemann will fly again with the Jet Waco, and several Beechcraft aircraft will fly, including the Beech 18 by Matt Younkin and the Beech Bonanza by Jim Peitz.

- Bill Stein with the Edge 540
- The USAF A-10 demo team
- WWII Airborne Demo flying the C-47
- Bernie Vasquez and the P-47
- Philipp Steinback and the Gamebird
- David Martin flying the Temco Super Pinto
Wednesday, July 24
The third day of the event will bring two different air shows, including a show at night. The afternoon show will include the SOCOM Skydivers, the International Aerobatic Club, the EAA Warbirds of America, and Heritage Flight. Other new features include the Canadian Victory Flight that features the P-51, Spitfire, and the Hurricane, Jerry Kerby flying a T-28, Patty Wagstaff and an Extra 330SC, Susan Dacy and a PT-17, and Vicky Benzing with a P-51 Mustang.

The night air show will once again feature the Titan Aerobatics Team with T-6s, Kyle Fowler flying the Long-EZ, and a Beech 18 operated by Matt Younkin. New features include:
- DOC/FIFI B-29s operated by Avro Lancaster
- The USAF F-35A demo
- The USAF F-22 demo
- Bob Carlton flying a Jetfox
- Ken Reider and Nate Hammond operating the RV-8 and the DHC-1 Chipmunk, which will feature fireworks
- The Starlight Aerial Production drone show
Thursday, July 25
The fourth day of EAA AirVenture will bring the event back to just an afternoon airshow. Once again, the SOCOM Skydivers, the EAA Warbirds of America, Jim Peitz in a Beech Bonanza, the USAF F-22 demo, the Canadian Victory Flight, Matt Younkin in his Beech 18, and Skip Stewart flying the Prometheus.

Friday, July 26
The conclusion of the weekday events will feature several repeated airshows. This includes Bill Stein flying the Edge 540, the EAA Warbirds of America, and Patty Wagstaff flying the Extra 330SC. One new feature will be the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, which will fly on Saturday and Sunday as well.

On Saturday, EAA AirVenture will once again show a night show in addition to the afternoon airshow. The afternoon airshow will once again feature the EAA Warbirds of America, the Canadian Forces Skyhawks skydivers, Rob Holland in an MXS-RH, Kyle Franklin in his Super Cub, the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 demo and the USAF F-16 Viper Demo. Other flights will include the Red Bull Airforce, the Canadian Victory Flight, and, once again, the Canadian Force Snowbirds.

The night show will once again feature the United States Navy EA-18 Growlers, Kyle Fowler flying the Long-EZ, the Titan Aerobatics Team, Bob Carlton flying a Jetfox, Matt Younkin in his Beech 18, and Ken Reider and Nate Hammond operating the RV-8 and the DHC-1 Chipmunk, which will feature fireworks. There will also be a Decathalon flown by RJ Gritter, a P-51 Mustang flown by Scott Yoak, a USAF F-16 Viper demo, and the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 demo.
Sunday, July 28
The final day of EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh will feature a shorter afternoon airshow as attendees begin to pack up for the week. The Sunday airshow will feature Jeff Boerboon flying in an Extra 330SC. Additional flights will include:
- The Canadian Forces Skyhawks skydivers
- A USAF F-16 Viper demo
- The Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 demo
- RJ Gritter flying an American Champion Decathalon
- A Beech Bonanza flown by Jim Peitz
