A bomb threat onboard an American Airlines flight forced a pilot to make an emergency diversion on Wednesday.

The fight from Newark, New Jersey was on its way to Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas Wednesday morning when it diverted to Pittsburgh International Airport in Pennsylvania due to ‘possible security issue’ after a flight attendant found a bomb threat on the bathroom door, WPXI reports.

It was barely legible, scrawled in pink ink, but the flight  attendant was able to see it said, ‘there’s a bomb onboard.’

The pilot was then notified of the threat and made the decision to detour to Pennsylvania, officials say.
