Next summer, British Airways
will operate its largest North America schedule in history. According to a recent announcement, the airline will have more than 400 weekly flights. It also highlighted it is the only airline offering a first class product between London and the United States.

Big plans for 2025

British Airways (BA) is going big to North America next summer. Despite this IATA summer season not being over, airlines are already looking to next year. Today, British Airways announced that in 2025, it will operate its largest-ever weekly schedule to North America.

British Airways plans to offer more than 400 weekly flights to North America, including 26 American cities. The airline offers more flights between the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK) than any other European airline.

Two cities will see their services doubled next summer: Miami and Vancouver. Flights to Miami International Airport
(MIA) will increase from once to twice daily and operate twice daily year-round. Additionally, BA has a lounge scheduled to open in Miami next year.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) has daily service from BA, but next year, during the summer, the airline will operate two daily flights from Heathrow. Vancouver also has one daily flight from London Gatwick Airport (LGW), so next summer, passengers will have three daily flights to choose from.

The British flag carrier has shifted operations on four other routes: Austin, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C. Austin currently has daily flights from Heathrow, and next year, BA will add six weekly frequencies. Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), which is also served by competitor Virgin Atlantic, has daily flights. During peak summer months, BA will add three weekly flights.

Pittsburgh, which was added to BA’s network in 2019, will get one more weekly flight. For the first time since the route launched, BA will serve Pittsburgh daily. Dulles International Airport (IAD), which serves Washington D.C., will have three daily flights next summer, up from two.
