The latest data from ch-aviation shows that French bee currently operates a total of six A350s, made up of four A350-900s and two A350-1000s. The carrier’s A350-900s can accommodate up to 411 passengers in a two-class configuration – 35 in premium class and 376 in economy class. Its larger A350-1000s, by contrast, can carry up to 480 passengers.
French bee’s busy transatlantic operation
Montreal-Trudeau International Airport is the third-largest airport in Canada, processing more than 21 million passengers in 2023. There is a significant market for air travel between Paris and Montreal, and French bee will face direct competition on its newest route from fellow French carrier Corsair, which also operates a summer seasonal service between the two cities.
When also considering Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), Air France, Air Canada, and Air Transat all operate the busy route multiple times per day. For example, on a typical day in June, Air France has three direct services, while both Air Canada and Air Transat have two each.

In addition to this new route to Canada, French bee also has a reasonably large presence in the US market. From its hub at Paris Orly Airport (ORY), the carrier flies year-round to Miami (MIA), Newark (EWR), and San Francisco (SFO) and operates a now summer-only service to Los Angeles (LAX). French bee’s San Francisco flights continue to Papeete (PPT). Away from the US, the airline also connects Paris Orly to Saint-Denis de la Réunion (RUN).

French bee commenced operations in September 2016. The carrier was originally known as French Blue, but changed its name to French bee in 2018. French bee has its headquarters in Bellevigny, with all of its six aircraft based at Paris Orly Airport. Prior to the pandemic, reports suggested that the airline had acquired rights to operate flights between Paris and São Paulo, although this route never materialized.
