DHC-8-400. Out of the dash 8 operated by the carrier, two are currently parked. The average age of the dash 8 operated by this Canadian carrier is 14.7 years.
The carrier recently turned eighteen years old. Porter Airlines revealed that in the past year, it had:
- Grown to 3,900+ team members (up from 1,500 in 2022)
- Taken delivery of 20 new E195-E2 aircraft (operating 42 in total of an order up to 100)

is the only carrier offering a one-stop flight connection between YOW and YYG, as the falg carrier of Canada offers the flight via either of these two airports:

Porter operates a 791-mile route between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) and Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ).
Porter has sixty operations between these airports in November. The flight is approximately two hours and fifteen minutes long. Porter is the sole carrier offering a non-stop flight between these routes.
The carrier offers 3.7 million available seat miles (ASMs) on its operations between these two destinations. As the carrier expanded its operations, it saw
a growth of 211% in the available seat miles (ASMs)
it offered on its flights in 2023.

Porter Airlines’ operations between YYT and YTZ is the carrier’s only route spanning over a thousand miles. On the sixty operations on this route, the carrier is offering 4,680 seats and more than six million ASMs – the highest on the routes we are discussing.
Porter operates 60 flights between YYT and YTZ (and an identical number from YTZ to YYT) – the joint-highest with the route we discussed above.
