easyJet has announced the launch of 26 new routes for summer 2025 including the low-cost airline’s first ever sub-Saharan service in its nearly 30-year history.

Among the 26 destinations announced on November 19, 2024, is a new service to the island of Sal in Cape Verde which is located off the coast of Senegal.

The first easyJet flights from London-Gatwick Airport (LGW) to Sal will take off on March 31, 2025, and operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the summer season.
