Airline swept two matches Saturday on the final day of the Cranberry Classic hosted by Haughton at Harold E. Harlan Stadium.

The Lady Vikings edged Parkway 3-2 then rolled past Northwood 5-0. Airline is off to a 5-0 start.

Parkway, Haughton and Bossier all picked up one victory.

The Lady Panthers routed Evangel Christian 8-0, the Lady Bucs edged Evangel 3-2 and lost to Northwood 4-2, and the Lady Kats defeated North Caddo 5-1.

Emma Albarado and Sofia Bright scored three goals each for Parkway (2-1-1) against Evangel. Bella Schoenborn and Ella Oswalt scored one each. Emma Oswalt had one assist.

Makynzie Franklin had one goal and one assist against Airline. Bright scored one goal. Kris Lee had nine saves.

Natalie Nettles led Haughton (2-2-1) with two goals against Evangel. Lanndry Culver scored one. Nettles and Culver scored one each against Northwood.

Bossier improved to 1-3-1.

In a non-tournament match, Benton defeated Ouachita Parish 4-1 to improve to 5-0-1. Peyton Beloso scored two goals. Baleigh Ware and Emerie Tanner scored one each.

The Bossier and Benton boys teams played in tournaments Friday and Saturday.

Bossier went 1-2 in the Archbishop Hannan tournament. The Bearkats defeated the host team 3-1 Friday. Luca Sifuentes, Aidan Bamburg and Wilson Alvarado scored one goal apiece.

Bossier lost to defending Division II state champion Holy Cross 3-1 and Denham Springs 5-0 Saturday. The Bearkats are 2-3-1.

Benton went 2-1 in the Pineville tournament. The Tigers defeated Alexandria 5-1 Friday. They defeated Southside 1-0 and lost to Baton Rouge 2-0 Saturday.

Benton is 4-3-1.
