Kuwait-based low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has confirmed its intention to purchase six A320ceo aircraft as part of its ongoing transformation and strategic growth.

The six Airbus A320-200 jets are currently on lease to Jazeera Airways and are already an integral part of the carrier’s fleet.

Explaining the decision in a statement on December 10, 2024, Jazeera Airways said the strategic move was aimed at “reducing unit costs and mitigating supply chain challenges that have impacted the aviation industry” such as delays in aircraft deliveries.
